Instead of dwelling on the negative part of that, I thank God that we have jobs that are keeping us here. I thank God that He's teaching us to navigate Chattanooga and even enjoy it. I thank God that He brought us here for a reason even if at that moment I don't understand it.

Basically what I do is try to flip the fear around and find something positive to be thankful to God for. Gratitude trumps fear, for me, EVERY TIME.Molly Pagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11140964889110189585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14942017.post-38153118515267696832011-08-12T22:59:20.923-04:002011-08-12T22:59:20.923-04:00I posted this status on my Facebook from a devotio...I posted this status on my Facebook from a devotional I read not too long ago:
"Feed your faith and your fears will starve to death."

How do I face them? Only with the help of God. Never underestimate the power of prayer!

There are a few people I am terrified of facing because I don't know how they'll persecute me, but I always wake up and tell myself, "Lord, help me to remember that nothing is going to happen to me today that you and I can't handle together."

Praying for peace and faith to face your fears!Dylanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04266599901569140088noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14942017.post-62388998256271240822011-08-12T19:48:47.284-04:002011-08-12T19:48:47.284-04:00Personally, I feel that it is foolish to be fearfu...Personally, I feel that it is foolish to be fearful of the unknown. It's equally foolish to not be fearful of anything. Therefore, I'm simply saying that we should know what we should be fearful of and not let the fear of the unknown hold us hostage for no reason. Sometimes I feel God calls us to trust Him even though we can't see the path ahead.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
