Cancer Back, and Prov. 3:5-6

Hi gang:

Hope all is well your way. We found out this week that my mom's cancer has returned. I don't know the extent of it yet. She is having a Pet scan on Thurs, and a surgical biopsy. I think I knew it was coming, and that is why my mood has been lacking. God has comforted me, and I know he will be faithful. I know we all have trials and we must cast our cares upon Christ. I do not know what you maybe facing in your lives, but I am reminded that we must not rely on our own understanding, but we must trust our God who understands all things! Prov. 3:5-6 Blessings,

T.J.
I''m enjoying your blogs!

Hi, Yep, i am ok. Thank you for asking. I have a satellite dish, and when we have heavy cloud coverage dear betsy does not function well. I am so sorry to hear your moms cancer is back. I will begin a daily prayer for her. I can only imagine how hard this is for you, but please try not to go into fear and worry, it will sneak up on you and when it does, get into scripture or just hold the Bible close and hum or sing a favorite praise song and let the Lord calm you. I still have days that i am get overwhelmed with my Frank being so sick and the Lord will remind me i am not alone, He is with me, and that i have many friends that are with me. He is also with your mom. Your faith will help you. yes, trust is the key. I am just sorry you and your mom have to deal with this. ((Hugs)) Dee

My goodness sweetie, I know how you feel. Whew. Im trying to find words to say what I feel, but I am pretty much at a loss. I am hurting with you, I am scared with you, I am in prayer with you

Romans 8:28 says And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to [His] purpose.
I see no reasoning behind this lot your Mama has fallen into, but God does, there is a reason and a purpose and He will be glorified through it.
I'm hugging you and your mama in my heart, and wish I could do more. Just know I am lifting ya'll up.

When our loved ones get sad news, it is so hard to stay strong - she'll need YOU. She'll need our good Lord! I'll lift you both in prayer when I pray daily for my brother with cancer, my Dad with asbestosis, so much pain and sickness out there....don't let it get you down. Lift up your eyes to the Lord - he will give you the strength you need. Here for ya!
